Bishop Fabbro has announced the upcoming Pastoral Appointments and Changes

Please note that our offices will close on Holy Thursday (March 28th) at noon and will reopen on Tuesday, April 2nd.

As advised last spring the remediation work is about to begin at Good Shepherd. Construction work will start soon and will continue until the spring of 2024.  We will keep you updated as the work progresses. It is also important to respect the construction barriers and signs for everyone’s safety. 

Bishop Fabbro announces the following changes to the pastoral appointments in our diocese.

Bishop Fabbro is Announcing a new Year of Prayer for Vocations to the Priesthood in a letter to the faithful (in English and French). The letters are posted on the diocesan website and links to the PDFs are available at this link. If you ordered prayer cards, they are being delivered soon, and electronic versions and other resources are available at https://dol.ca/year-of-prayer-2023. Social media posts you can share will be available tomorrow and Saturday.

COVID-19 Update from Bishop Fabbro (Update #29)

On 8 February 2023, the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops issued the following four pastoral letters on reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples. Intended as a framework for local engagement with Indigenous Peoples, the letters are the fruit of many months of listening, encounter, and dialogue with them, including through Listening Circles, the Indigenous Delegation to the Vatican in April 2022, and Pope Francis’ Apostolic Voyage to Canada in July of the same year.
